The Cyclocross Workout Of The Day for Sunday, 8.9.15. “Do Epic S**t”
Howdy Folks,
Hey, it’s Sunday! The day of rest, right?
Yeaaaahhh… not quite.
If you read yesterday’s post, you know that the goal this weekend is to go out and…
…so, in that spirit, resting today?
Not super epic.
Get some miles in today.
Ride hard, long if you can, mostly on the road.
It’s ok to head out on the Mtb today, but if you do, no lollygagging.
Ride something a bit less technical that’s more physically demanding.
Racing would be good, but if you aren’t racing, do something that makes you feel like you just finished a race when you get home.
Spent.
Tired.
The shorter you go, the harder you go.
The idea is to – essentially – ride as hard as you can for the time you’ve got.
Only got an hour to ride?
Better make it fast.
Ideally, you’re doing a fair bit more than that.
Think 4+ hours on the bike.
Like I said, epic.
Tomorrow we do rest, so today?
Earn it.
Have fun!
